“The Oracle Series” is acquired by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
“The Oracle Series,” a new series of constructed drawings by Imi Hwangbo, has been acquired by the Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. In this series of three-dimensional drawings, the artist has combined floral and geometric patterns with a field of brilliant color. Silhouetted by a palette of blues and reds, the patterns create a kaleidoscopic drawing that changes with the viewer’s position.
The Dana–Farber Cancer Institute is a leading cancer treatment and research center that is internationally known for its research and clinical excellence. It is the principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, and a founding member of Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, one of the largest comprehensive cancer centers in the nation.
